TÖUFOOD SORBÄTE
Preservative used for the preservation of various foods and beverages obtained from the berries of the Sorbus Aucuparia tree. It retards bacterial and fungal growth, so it is widely used in preparations with high water activity or foods that need a longer shelf life. It also delays the fermentation process in food products. It may lose its preservative capacity if mixed with calcium-rich products, such as dairy products.
How to use:
Add directly to the liquid product or dissolve it beforehand in a liquid base.
A dosage of 2-4 g/kg of final product is recommended.
