Once the cocoa is opened, you will see that the seeds (better known as beans) are encapsulated by a fresh white pulp.
Like an apple or an orange, cocoa contains a nutritious pulp that can be squeezed to obtain juice from the pulp.
When the pulp is pressed into juice, a golden brown colour characterises the juice.
The fruit itself is very rich and contains important minerals and vitamins.
It is therefore not surprising that the juice is a natural source of magnesium and potassium.
The juice has a surprising smell and taste.
Despite the somewhat bitter and earthy taste of the cocoa beans, the juice contains a very fruity and spicy aroma and flavour.
Due to its unique and fruity taste, it is particularly suitable for use in beverages to bring a delicious and exotic flavour to your creation.
