Cornstär – CORN FLOUR MADE FROM MODIFIED CORN STARCH
CORN FLOUR Carbohydrate, which is extracted from waxy maize.
Starch is modified by acidity allowing greater stability to frozen products that need to maintain the same texture and appearance when these foods are thawed.
It has thickening properties and can be used as a substitute for corn starch or potato starch.
Highly recommended for thickening liquids and obtaining creams, sauces and other preparations that need to be frozen.
Instructions for use:
Mix the liquid by stirring vigorously.
Heat to boiling point and allow to cool.
Usual dosage:
30-80 g/kg of liquid.
