PSYLLIÜM – Gelling fiber and gluten substitute. It is zaragatona seed husk with thickening and gelling properties rich in mucilage and hemicellulose. Mucilages are a group of natural gelling agents derived from plants, with high water absorption power. This natural product is also used as dietary fibre to alleviate various gastrointestinal symptoms. Several studies have shown evidence of lower blood cholesterol levels and lower blood glucose levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Widely used as a thickener in ice cream and desserts that require freezing. Dissolve cold or hot with vigorous stirring. Emulsifier powder. Ingredients: Citrus fibre, thickener: xanthan (E-415). May contain milk. . Use: Mix in one of the two phases (fat or water) and integrate into the other phase to obtain a correct emulsion. Dose: 2-15 gr. / kg. Product intended for food use. Store in a cool and dry place. Available in 700 g pack.
